Video Studio
Video Studio is the studio's standalone AI video generator: type a prompt, pick a model and a length, and get a finished AI clip — no script, no project, no pipeline. Clips land in your Media library, ready to download or to reuse as footage anywhere in the app.

Generating a clip
- Pick a model and length first. Models marked 🔊 generate native speech and sound. Length runs from 5 seconds up in 5-second steps; the maximum single take depends on the model (H3 Max goes the longest at 15 seconds and beyond where the provider allows).
- Write the prompt — or let the prompt helper expand a rough idea into a shot description. Art styles and camera directives from the style catalog apply here too.
- Optional: attach image references for character or style consistency, an end frame to steer where the shot lands, or a seed to reproduce a look.
- Generate. Clips run in parallel up to your plan's concurrent-video limit and appear in the Media library as they finish.
Models and pricing
Every video model in the catalog is available here, at the same live credit prices the picker shows — Seedance 1.5 Pro (45 credits per ~8s at 720p) through Seedance 2.5 (195), and MiniMax H3 Max (100), the cinematic tier that always ships with native audio. Resolution scales the price the same way it does for scenes (480p ×0.444 · 720p ×1 · 1080p ×1.25).
The Unlimited plan
On the Unlimited plan ($199/mo), generation in the Video Studio on Seedance Mini, Seedance 1.5 Pro and MiniMax H3 Max (served at 720p) doesn't spend credits at all, within the daily fair-use budget described in the Acceptable Use Policy. When a day's budget is used up nothing breaks — further generations bill top-up credits the ordinary way until the budget resets at midnight UTC. Premium models (Seedance 2 and 2.5) always bill credits.
Common questions
Q: How is this different from AI footage in a project? Same models, different purpose: projects generate footage scene-by-scene against a script, while Video Studio gives you single clips from a prompt — for social posts, experiments, B-roll, or just exploring a model.
Q: Do Video Studio clips have sound? On H3 Max, always — it generates ambient audio, effects and speech natively. Seedance 2.x models also generate audio; on Seedance 1.5 Pro sound is an opt-in toggle with a surcharge.
Q: Where do my clips go? The Media library (shared with Image Studio), hosted on the CDN — download them, or reference them from projects and Series like any other media.
